The Presidential Election 2016 - Prediction

10/24/2016

In January, 2016, I made the following predictions during a public lecture:

"We should expect this upcoming Presidential race to be unusual, wild, with unexpected twists and turns. We can expect something completely different from what we have seen before: unorthodox and upsetting.  Also, with Neptune involved as it is, we can expect to see lies, foul play and cheating on both sides. Whatever, it is, this will not be a normal Presidential race."  I think we would all agree that we have seen this!

Election Day
I don't want to dwell on what's been happening now (October 24 as I write this) between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, as I am pretty sure most people are aware of it. I want to talk about Election Day and what happens after it.

Mars begins the day at 29 Capricorn before entering Aquarius, indicating a change in the action before the end of the next day. The day begins one way but by next morning things may appear to be different. In other words, there may be confusion around this day, and Donald Trump has already indicated he may not accept the result of the Election if he doesn't win.

It is very hard to predict who will win because both Donald and Hillary have Mars in Leo - and this is the most popular position of Mars in the charts of former Presidents.  However, astrologically-speaking, Hillary seems to have the edge.

Hillary Clinton’s synastry to USA chart is very favorable. Her Sun makes a trine to USA Venus/Jupiter and her Venus makes a trine to USA Sun. She has enough cosmic support to be elected but her Neptune falls on USA Saturn, so there are trust issues, as we know. Overall, she has a more fortunate chart at the time of the Election, according to the transits. Quite a few of the planets will be in Scorpio on November 8, and Hilary has a whole line up of planets in this secretive Sun Sign - Sun, Mercury, Chiron and Venus. The Sun on November 8 will be making an exact conjunction with her natal Venus, and this is a good thing as it makes her look more popular. It gives power to her as a female.  Also, Mars is making a positive aspect (sextile) to her natal Jupiter which is a another positive influence.

Donald Trump, on the other hand has a cluster of transit planets in his 4th and 5th houses, which oppose those planets in his birth chart in the opposite houses, 10 and 11.  Opposing planets such as this bring trouble and it's hard to achieve balance; this energy brings dilemmas that can be difficult to solve.  Donald Trump’s Sun and Moon fall in the war zone (19-26 degree of mutable signs) involving USA and Iran’s natal Mars/Neptune square, as well as Mars/Saturn square on Inaguration Day.  If he is elected, the USA’s probability for entering war is extremely high within first few months. He too has trust issues.

Post-Election

I do, also think there will be some difficulties after the Election.  The Moon will be in Pisces on November 9 conjunct Neptune, bringing a lot of confusion with talk of slander, law suits, etc.  It is as if the Election takes place in a fog and it may take some time to see through the fog really clearly.

Also, a few days after the Election, on November 14 there is a Super Full Moon. Full Moons are times of endings and this Super Full Moon will be conjunct Donald Trump's Midheaven (his career/public point).  This indicates that something in his public life is ending but it is certainly not the end for him.  It indicates that a new direction is emerging and he will remain in the spotlight.

I did predict in January that the Democrats would win the Election because there are positive astrological aspects for the Democratic Party to the actual Election chart (as opposed to the personal birth charts of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump).

The Presidential Election Chart

I also researched a chart called the Aries Ingress chart for Washington, DC for 2016. It's an ancient technique and one that did successfully predict the 2012 Presidential Election. This is the chart that is set for when the Sun enters the first degree of Aries and this is the beginning of the astrological New Year. This chart predicts major events that are taking place during the next twelve months at the location for which the chart is drawn up or, in this case, for the country since Washington D.C. is the capital of the US.

One thing that springs out is that this is a good chart for the Democratic Party. The incumbent party, the Democrats, in this chart is represented by the 10th (public) house and the challenging party, the Republicans, is represented by the fourth house. In this chart, the 10th House is ruled by Mercury at 28 degrees Pisces. The cusp of the 10th House (called the Midheaven) has the planet Jupiter and also the North Node conjunct it (touching it) indicating success and good fortune.  However, the fourth house in this chart is ruled by Jupiter in Virgo so again there is this beneficial influence of Jupiter.  I have found that when a planet is actually in a House, it is more fortunate than the House that Jupiter rules.  It is close but there are indications for a Democratic party win.

This Election has been difficult to predict astrologically because, as you might imagine, it has been fraught with confusion - with a strong influence of Neptune and Uranus. While these planets can stir up idealism, they can also bring confusion, deceit and unpredictability, and we have seen all this. One thing is clear is that, whoever does win, that person will become a catalyst, and the next four years will bring a shift of energies partly because the political pot has been so thoroughly stirred leading up to the Election. I don't expect to see smooth sailing over the next four years but a rather uncomfortable period but out of this can emerge something more positive.

Whoever wins this Election, I also predicted last January and still do, that this will only be a four year Presidency. It appears that the candidate who will emerge in 2020 will be a strong leader of high moral standards and great talent, who will have the ability to unite people and bring stability to the U.S.

So, in conclusion, I make a tentative prediction that Hillary Clinton will win the Election but astrologically it is not really clear and, as mentioned, we should expect some confusion at the outcome.

The Astrology of the EU Leave - June 23, 2016

6/26/2016

Watch this space....I am working on a chart for the time that the referendum for the Leave/Stay EU campaign began in Britain and will post my findings soon.

In the meantime, one astrologer who posted on February 22 predicted then that Britain would leave the EU on June 23. He had run two charts for Britain - one was the 1066 chart and one the 1801 chart and predicted this day as the biggest push for independence in years if not ever in the history of the nation.  (Good catch!) Because of this, I think there has to be tremendous ramifications for the future.....

Also, astrologically, England is an Aries nation and fiercely independent with strong Capricorn undertones. Had the EU been a relationship of compromise it could have worked but the English just wont tolerate being told what to do for long.

I also felt that, since Mars is in an unusually long retrograde (April 18 - June 29), and is the ruler of England, things would not go according to plan. This is usually the case with Mars Retrograde. Mars was nearly stationary on June 23 which to me was a strong indication that there would be an unexpected turn of events. I believe even if the vote had been to stay, it would have been a turning point. I don't think the EU would have continued as it is - and I still don't. Also, the planet Uranus is in England's sign of Aries and according to the charts I have seen, it seems to be currently right on the nation's Ascendant, indicating more shocks and also a new beginning for England.

More later....

Mars Retrograde

6/11/2016

We have been experiencing Mars Retrograde since April 17 and it is finally coming to an end this month on June 29 at 7:38 p.m. EDT at 23 degrees Scorpio.  Mars retrograde takes place every two years so it is fairly rare and, even though it has almost come to an end, it's a good time to look back over the past couple of months and see what we may have learned from this. If nothing - it's not too late!

This particular Mars retrograde period is even more significant than usual because it is very long in duration. Although this period is ten weeks in length, Mars is actually moving through the area of Sagittarius and Scorpio where it is now for six months. This brings a lot of the "Martian energy" into focus which can be a good thing, even when the planet is retrograde (quite a few athletes have Mars retrograde in their birth charts. I do myself actually and though I am definitely not an athlete, I have accomplished quite a lot. I say this because there is some thought that during Mars retrograde periods we just can't accomplish anything - it is one step forward and two back.  This is why we need to understand these important periods).

Although some planetary configurations and astrological periods are difficult, and are known to be negative; as you will see from my books and my own experience with astrology for over forty years, I believe that everything is potentially good. Even the hardest periods can bring us the most useful lessons.  And I also believe that this is what life is all about - learning, growing and evolving into more aware and enlightened human beings.

The planet Mars rules our self- assertion and is the energy that gets us moving towards our goals. When Mars is retrograde instead of just surging ahead in what is called "direct motion", we tend to question our style of assertion and examine why we seem to get into conflict with other people. Its a good time to reflect on the past (similar here to Mercury retrograde but more about how we assert and achieve rather than how we communicate). Perhaps we haven't achieved as much as we would have liked; either by asserting ourselves with others in an unpleasant way or by getting distracted from our goals; by taking on too much and ending up dealing with "the small stuff". Now, until the end of June, we can examine this and see if we can improve how we "come across."  Also improve our physical vitality and energy levels by assessing our diet and exercise regime, etc.

We should remember that this period is affecting everyone in the world - not just you and me. Some people, of course, won't learn from it and could have a very difficult, frustrating time during this period. Others, more aware, will have begun to wonder why things are going ahead as smoothly as they would have liked. Others may already be sensitive and intuitive enough to have felt the shift of energy and have already been working with it in positive ways - trying a different approach - and succeeding.

It's a good time for self-analysis and to be as honest and authentic as possible, however painful that may be:) The retrograde periods generally present good times for us to be impartial observers of ourselves and there are several slow-moving retrograde planets right now - Saturn and Pluto with Neptune going retrograde next week.

It's not a great time to begin new things but to ponder how we can achieve our goals and assert ourselves differently once the retrograde period is over at the end of this month. We shouldn't avoid taking action, just as we shouldn't avoid communications during Mercury retrograde, but become more conscious of how and why we're taking action.

Mars retrograde is encouraging us to live simply, free from the confines of guilt, fear, competition and ego. It is encouraging us to have joy in the fact that we do have the energy to get up in the mornings and to accomplish what we need to do, and what we aspire to do. It is a time to be grateful for the wonderful influence of the fiery planet Mars - the builder, the achiever, the energizer.

Mercury Retrograde in Gemini - Intense and Signficant

5/12/2015

Picture
Mercury retrograde periods seem to come round very quickly, and there is a tendency to worry about them and what they might bring. The next one is an extra intense one in Gemini from May 19 through June 11.

In Gemini, Mercury is in its “own sign” since Mercury is the natural ruler of the sign of Gemini. The Air sign of Gemini is closely associated with ideas and communication and seeing different sides of an issue. When Mercury enters this sign, communication is highlighted; when Mercury is retrograde in the sign, ideas and communication can be difficult. You may think you communicated exactly what you meant but then find the other person is deeply hurt or misunderstood your intent.

We are already feeling this, since Mercury has already entered (May 12 as time of writing) its pre-retrograde shadow phase. It’s good to be aware of what we can expect.

What makes this retrograde even more potentially difficult is a square between Mercury and Neptune. The square aspect of these two planets tends to cause confusion. If you have this in your natal chart, you may be a dreamer but your dreams can lead you and others “up the garden path”. It is especially important with this combination to have absolutely self-honesty and absolute clarity or things can easily get misconstrued or out of hand.

We then feel we are in a type of fantasy land of our own making.

On the positive side of things, with a disciplined approach to one’s spiritual practices and pursuits, this combination can further one’s desire for and attainment of a degree of spiritual enlightenment. Discipline and self-honesty are keys here.  It’s also potentially positive for creative pursuits, as long as your vision is grounded in reality.

You may find a greater tendency to fantasize and daydream. I would suggest this is a good time now to take note of new ideas coming up in your mind rather than ignoring them. Pay attention but don’t take them on board or adhere to them yet. What happens in Mercury Retrograde generally is that we often find ourselves looking back and learning from past mistakes with a view to correcting them. It’s also a good time to reevaluate your creative work with a critical eye because you may find that what seemed like a good idea a few months ago now no longer has the appeal that it did.

It’s always good to be alert and self aware but it’s vital during this upcoming Mercury retrograde period. There may be a tendency to withhold information from others, or even from yourself by burying your head in the sand about a sensitive issue.  However, clarity is the key. Be clear, simple and double check what you say and especially what you send out in emails or texts because misinterpretation is a big danger, and this can lead to further complications.

As well as this, you may be more susceptible to other people’s promises and ideas than usual. Be aware of this and take time to react to ideas that may seem too good to be true – they probably are.

It’s a good time to reflect and pursue your spiritual practices relentlessly. It’s a good time to listen rather than react emotionally or idealistically to what another person is saying, or you could find yourself immersed in word battles. It’s a good time to say less and listen more!

I don’t believe that any of the planetary configurations are negative. They are always positive, helping us to grow, learn and become more enlightened about ourselves and the world. This includes Mercury Retrograde and I wrote a book about it entitled Mercury Retrograde that focuses on the positive way to handle these potentially difficult periods right through to the year 2050.

Mercury retrograde is helping us to slow down in this frantic, reactive world in which we now live. It’s helping us to check ourselves and our reactions but if we are prepared to put in the work and do this, it can be a particularly rewarding time in which we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our path in life.

Instead of being fearful of this upcoming Mercury retrograde period, I suggest we get ready to embrace it. Remember the key words – stay alert, be clear, simple, say less, listen, pray more, check and double-check, aim for self-honesty, understanding and soul growth through disciplined spiritual practices. Here’s some more ideas about how to handle Mercury Retrograde - Survival Tips.

If we do this, our highest most elevated dreams can, I believe, become a part of the fabric of our lives.

Lovingly,

Chrissie Blaze

The Astrology of Change - The Post 2012 Era and Solar Eclipse

3/26/2015

PictureLake Powell. c Gary Blaze 2013
The Astrology of Change – The Post 2012 Era and Total Solar Eclipse

This is an important time in our history. On Monday, March 16, 2015, we came through the final initiation of the Uranus-Pluto square, also known as the Post 2012 Era aspect. We have felt the pressure and power of seven exact contacts of these planets of personal and global change and transformation. I know many of us have felt this shift and urge to do more and make a difference - and the beautiful, radical, extraordinary Spiritual wisdom and practice called The Twelve Blessings is, in my opinion, the ultimate way to do this.

The planetary power was ramped up even more when the last of these seven aspects was closely followed by a total eclipse of the Sun in the final degree of the zodiac - 30 degrees Pisces, on Friday, March 20 at 5:36 a.m. EDT. It then rolled into the first degree of the Zodiac - 1 degree Aries, known as the Aries point. It is the ultimate meeting of the individual and the collective; the personal and the global.

This rare combination of the March Equinox, the Total Solar Eclipse and New Moon is not going to be experienced again until 2053 and is so powerful that it will influence us for this entire year and longer. However, we are now in a particularly important time when we are experiencing an influx of planetary light, intensified during the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on April 4 just before the celebration of Easter.

Some astrologers believe, as I do, that after this time of the ending of the long alignment of Uranus and Pluto on March 16 which harked back to 2012 and even before that to the 1960s (another phase) that yet another opportunity is being given for humanity and all life to rise through this extra power – to a higher order.

I do not believe that it was by chance that The Twelve Blessings was delivered to this Earth in 1958, just a few years before the beginning of the cosmic dance of the two planets of transformation – Uranus and Pluto in the 1960s. These are the spiritual teachings and practices that enable us to make the transformation – individually and collectively. We can now look back and see the effects that the 1960s had on planetary consciousness. Now, we are in the midst of another phase of this transformation, and I believe history will mark this era as one of the most important in our long history on this planet.

The synchronicity of the Equinox at 1 degree Aries, a Solar Eclipse and New Moon on March 20 was very powerful but happening at the time it did, just after the ending of the powerful alignment of the planets of change and transformation – Uranus and Pluto - is incredible.

There have indeed been monumental shifts of energy and now it's up to us to ensure heightened consciousness follows.  I believe that humanity is able now to withstand higher frequencies of energy than before, if only they would reach upwards. I am sure this is primarily because of the cosmic happenings on July the 8th, when the Primary Initiation of Earth took place – which I believe marked the true beginning of the Age of Aquarius. The ensuing gradual release of incredibly powerful energies from Mother Earth intensified through the cosmic symphony of planetary energies.

Something original is definitely brewing in your life. If you haven't stopped and grabbed hold of the life-changing The Twelve Blessings yet, now is the time because this is not only the ultimate, transformative spiritual practice but is the ultimate in originality. These are not idle words on my part - I have loved them, studied them, used them, been transformed and transfixed by them for over forty years.

Now it's your turn....

This combination of the last of the seven squares and the eclipse of the Sun is speaking to us so loudly that it may begin to sound like a booming in the ears if we ignore it. In other words, from now on it will be hard to ignore the fact that we are not here on Earth just to exist, make some money, have a family and die. We are here to make a difference. The Twelve Blessings will help you to do this.

When we look at the problems and challenges we face on Planet Earth they may at times seem insurmountable. However, the Forces of Light have always been here helping, guiding and giving us a way out of our problems - towards God.

Live Online Service of The Twelve Blessings - Saturday, March 21

Please, please do not take my word for it - join me and others as we conduct live online broadcasts every Saturday and Sunday using this beautiful, powerful, potent Spiritual teaching and practice. You can join in these live broadcasts from around the world by visiting www.12blessings.org at the times listed.

The more people who join in with this beautiful consciousness-shifting practice; the more we come together with people of like mind by joining in this Spiritual practice, then miracles can happen. The reason I am sharing this on my Astrology City website is because I am an evolutionary astrologer and the planets, through their cosmic movements, are helping us to evolve - Godwards. I cannot practice astrology without also trying to evolve spiritually in my own life, as well as help others to do the same. The Twelve Blessings is the best spiritual practice I have found to help us do this.

Planetary Events for February 2015

Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius
February is a reasonably quiet month, and begins with Mercury retrograde in Aquarius (moves back from 17 degrees to 1 degrees). If you’re astrology-savvy, see where it hits in your chart and from that you can work out where in your life you should be open to thinking outside the box. For example, if it’s going backwards (or appearing to) in your area of Career, it’s time to rethink the way you’ve been doing business. Mercury remains retrograde until February 11 when this planet of communication goes direct again.

As I think you know by now, it is not a good time to sign new contracts, purchase expensive items or communication devices. However, don’t just stop living – if you have to do these things, just make sure you double check before signing.

Take a look here to see how your Sun sign fares during Mercury Retrograde.

Take a look here for Mercury Retrograde Survival Tips.

Take a look here for the upcoming Mercury Retrograde periods this year.

Finally, take a look here at my book on Mercury Retrograde, the ideal gift for the cool person:)

This is a good time to edit or re-do things; to purchase or repair old items and research ideas that you would like to put into practice after February 11. So, don’t just do nothing, just think outside the box and work differently. I have found that something that may have been bothering you for a long time can be resolved during Mercury Retrograde.

Mars in Aries
The planet Mars enters the sign of Aries on February 19. Since this planet is the natural ruler of Aries, it is very strong in this sign. You may notice that actions are more direct and aggressive. Temper your competitive, aggressive spirit at this time or there could be fireworks! Also, Mars rules fires and so be careful with turning off heaters and with open flames; we could see some major fires at this time.

This is an impatient combination so tread carefully especially if you live in a cold, icy area as I do. Aries also rules the head in astrology and previously when Mars was in Aries, I managed to slip on the ice, fall on the back of my head and have to be rushed to the ER. Fortunately, although my head swelled up like a cartoon character, since I am an Aries, I was born with a strong head (and as you might guess from the post, I survived). It taught me one of my big lessons – take time and be patient around potentially dangerous situations. This applies to all of us at this time.

Venus in Aries
Mars in Aries is joined by lovely Venus the following day, February 20. Again, however, this planet of love and peace, can become quite aggressive in Aries and when Mars and Venus come together in this way (as they do three times in 2015, which is pretty unusual), we can see competition between the sexes, and other heated scenarios on the rise. Use this Venus/Mars conjunction to learn about the value of cooperation and harmony rather than getting embroiled in heated arguments. It can be very good, though, for competitive sports, as long as you don’t throw caution to the winds.

Moon Phases
The Full Moon in February is February 3 at 6:09 p.m. ET at 14 degrees Leo. The Full Moon is a time of culmination and endings, and often the emotions are on the rise. Since the sign of Leo is connected to creativity, children, romance and fun, you could find yourself emotionally wound up or super intense about something connected to this area of your life. Again, look at where this Full Moon falls in your horoscope to find out how it might affect you (or have me do your Forecast chart).

The New Moon in February is on February 18 at 6:48 p.m. ET at 30 Aquarius. As always the New Moon is a time to begin things or initiate projects. Again, look at where this falls in your horoscope and if the New Moon has any contacts with your natal planets.

Saturn in Sagittarius - December 23, 2014 - December 20, 2017

12/24/2014

Picture
Saturn just entered the sign of Sagittarius on December 23, 2014 to June 14, 2015 when it dips back into the previous sign of Scorpio,  and then moves back again into Sagittarius from September 17, 2015 to December 20, 2017.  This new set of energies being introduced into the world will affect and be felt by us all - we'll all feel the shift - but especially by people with the Sun, Moon or Ascendant in Sagittarius. Please visit the Sun in Sagittarius section to learn more about the qualities of this sign.

Saturn demands that we define our goals. It demands honesty and simplicity and helps us lay foundations in our life if we are prepared to take a disciplined approach to what we want. And, also, if what we want is the right thing for us; Saturn is urging us to steer away from the glitter of promise and position to the reality of what our goals really mean. The sign of Jupiter that Saturn is now in, is all about expansion and growth, while Saturn helps us build structures for our growth. It is, therefore, about building our growth one step at a time through disciplined practices, whether that is our health, academic studies or spiritual awakening. People often don't think of spiritual advancement in terms of discipline and if they do, are not sure how to do this. I wrote the book: Soul Fitness for this purpose.

This influence of Saturn in Sagittarius will affect us all and many people will be turning to and analyzing their belief systems to see if they still work for them. More and more will people be dissatisfied with beliefs that do not have a practical application. During the next 2.5 years, people may begin to turn away from beliefs they have had all their lives, to ones that are more in keeping with this Aquarian Age. After many years of personal searching, I have now been closely connected to The Aetherius Society for over 30 years and definitely encourage readers to research this out as a Spiritual organization that answers life's most challenging and difficult questions. Also, its philosophy, while being enlightened, wise and incorporating a cosmic aspect, is extremely practical. All of these are elements of Saturn in Sagittarius and I believe that, during these next three years, this organization will gain prominence in the world.

When Saturn enters a new sign of the zodiac, it seems to enhance the qualities of the sign it inhabits. In Sagittarius, there is always a desire to enlarge one's life and vision, a desire for knowledge, wisdom, experience and meaning.  Saturn doesn't want us to rush but urges us to be authentic with every step we take. Sometimes the energies of the wonderful planet Saturn can seem frustrating because they slow us down. This is especially true if we are impatient and expect instant results, as is now the way of the world. Saturn teaches us that it takes time to build lasting foundations and through listening to Saturn, we gradually learn the value of patience.

As the Sagittarians among  us know, this is a very outspoken and blunt sign. What is in their minds is often on their lips, irrespective of how their information may be received. Like the archer, symbol of Sagittarius, they shoot their arrows straight and true and often hit the mark but Saturn is asking us to temper this with a more disciplined approach.  It is reminding us that we are responsible for not just we say and do, but for the effects of our thoughts, words and actions.

Sagittarians are larger than life and love the big picture instead of the details. They are usually fun to be around but like all the signs there is also a negative manifestation. In this case it can be excessiveness and irresponsibility; a desire to be right or a tendency to be dogmatic or rigid in their beliefs and opinions. Saturn in Sagittarius is helping to streamline this energy and fill in some of the details. While the positive thinking and faith of Sagittarius is good, it needs to be based on reality and sound research to be even better. Also Saturn in Sagittarius is reminding us that while it's great to have faith and beliefs in something higher than ourselves, it is much better to put our faith to work through application and service to others.  Saturn seeks reality and if we don't accept this calling, we can lose the confidence of Sagittarius and sink into a pessimistic approach. It is important to be aware of this in advance so that if we feel this happening, we can avoid it by working on our beliefs through study - and even better - putting them to work. In this way, we are using the amazingly powerful energies of Saturn to make our dreams for a better life and a better world - a living reality.

Any Sagittarian will tell you that they love freedom. "Don't fence me in!" could be their motto. This is why they love to travel the world and experience many different things.  At first, with Saturn in this sign, we may feel that our freedom is being taken away but Saturn is teaching us that, with freedom comes responsibility.  We may want to travel the world, but if we haven't worked to make enough money to pay for the airfare it will just be a dream. Saturn is urging us to think in new ways and to realize that true freedom only comes by giving up our freewill - that part of us that wants to do what we want whenever we want with no consequences. Saturn in Sagittarius will wake us up to the fact that attaining the true freedom that comes by abiding by God's Laws - the great Law of Karma - and living in the light of this - is far, far more important than indulging our freewill as we have done for thousands of years on this planet.

It is a time when many people will no longer be satisfied with having a hero or heroine with superficial goals and aims. People will be seeking for the true heroes and heroines of history. My own personal hero is my Spiritual Master, Dr. George King, and I urge you at this time to research his life and mission on this planet - I believe if you do, you will be amazed by what he achieved.

Physically, Sagittarius rules the hips. It is very important during this time with Saturn in the sign that we work on loosening up this part of our body, and our whole body by walking and building flexibility. I noticed that the very day that Saturn went into Sagittarius an old hip problem flared up and I was determined to go back to the regular flexibility exercises I used to do.

Sagittarius rules higher education and the higher mind, intuition. During this transit of Saturn it is a good time to updating one's skills and getting further training. However, what interested us in the past may shift. We may want to add new, more relevant and practical skills to our quiver of knowledge during this time.

Sagittarius is the sign of the teacher and now the teacher will be called to a higher standard. The level of teaching that was acceptable previously may no longer be enough in many cases. The teacher will be expected to live what they are teaching rather than just repeat what they have learned from books. A new standard of wisdom will be expected from spiritual teachers and this may particularly affect the New Age movement. Higher standard will be called for and it will no longer be enough to say that what you believe is true but now teachers will be called to demonstrate the validity of what they are teaching through a mixture of knowledge, research, wisdom, intuition and experiences.

This particular transit will see the wise Elders of our society coming more into prominence. It should be the case that as we age, what we may lose in physical vigor we make up for in mental and spiritual vigor. It is a time, with Saturn in Sagittarius when many people may turn to mentors or wise elders to gain understanding of the eternal truths.

The sign of Sagittarius is future oriented. It is the sign of the visionary. There will be no time to waste in looking back at the mistakes you have made unless you can learn from them and determine not to bring them into your future. It is like a new, clean slate is being presented to you - and that is your future. What you paint on the slate each day of the next 2.5 years is being influenced by the wise and spiritual, practical and profound energies of the planet Saturn. Are you up for the task?  I know you are, because this is a vital 2.5 years ahead and time when we can bring a great shift towards evolution on our planet. However, it will take the efforts and hard work of all of us. Now is the time - now is your time!

Lovingly,
Chrissie

The Sun enters Capricorn on Sunday, December 21 at 6:03 EST. The new Moon in Capricorn will follow at 8:36 pm EST. Also, Venus will conjunct Pluto and square Uranus. What does this mean, and how does it influence us?

It may be difficult to think of letting go during the Christmas and Holiday season but that is what we are being called to do, as the light of the Moon begins to wane. This is a time to go deeper within; not a time for wild parties but a time to draw closer to the inner light and also to those who are close to us, our family and friends.

It's a great time to reflect before making resolutions for the New Year, and these are some of the things, you may be drawn to reflect upon: how you handle power - a big lesson for us all. How you react to those who seem to have more power than you do. Perhaps you want to impress them, take them down, or just admire them. Power is a big theme at this time. Focus on developing inner power as a key to guide you through the challenges of the year ahead. And just as there were many challenges in 2014, we can expect more of the same in 2015, especially during the first half of the year.

Take the down to make plans for 2015 but be careful to ensure that they are the right plans and goals for you at this time. This is where astrology can help and I do many Forecast charts in January for people who want to make the best use of the planetary influences of the year, and learn how they affect them. Don't listen too much to others but follow your own instincts and them make your detailed plans accordingly.

Pluto in Capricorn brings us a steadfast and practical energy that can give us the will and determination to achieve whatever we set our mind to achieve. This is why we have to be extra careful that we are going in the right direction!

The key also is be prepared to work to make your plans a reality. A dream is not enough right now; it's just not going to cut it. If you want something badly enough, be prepared to work hard for it; to sacrifice for it; to put in the extra hours and it will happen. Pluto in Capricorn demands proof that we really mean what we dream!

Happy Christmas and Holiday Season. May your New Year be blessed in every way.

Lovingly,

Chrissie

Time to Get Fired Up!

After a long emphasis on the Water element - feelings and sensitivity - we are currently in a more fiery period. Make the most of this new feeling of vitality and energy and enthusiasm with six planets in the Fire elements of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. The Sun is in Sagittarius, the Moon currently in the last degrees of Aries, as I write this, Mercury and Venus in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Leo and slow moving Uranus still in Aries.  As an Aries with Leo rising, I welcome this change of pace. The key to all shifts in the planetary energies is to work with them. Now is the time to be bold; to be creative; to shift your own energy to more enthusiasm and passion about life and what you're doing. How do you do that? Physically - pranayama and deep breathing, as well as exercise; mentally - creative expression and mental/verbal challenges, and Spiritually - prayer, directed intention, the repetition of holy mantra.

Sometimes it's difficult to go with the planetary flow of change and to keep up with the Cosmic dance. If we don't we can feel out of sync as if we are not really living up to our potential. This is also a time to plan fun and lively things.

This fiery energy increases as the Moon becomes Full on Saturday, December 6. This Full Moon is in Gemini which means it will be opposite the Sun in Sagittarius. Expect things to come to fruition - for more about the Full Moon and what it means, visit this page on my website.

What can you expect? People may be more outspoken and blunt than usual. They may react more quickly to things but it doesn't mean you have to be the same way.  Focus your enthusiasm on something you want to achieve. I am not saying it is easy as nothing worthwhile is easy but it's a great time to do it. Set a goal and go for it with all the passion and enthusiasm you can muster. The Fire signs are often very aware of what is going on around them. Be aware of what is going on within you and take stock. Pick up your energy level but don't burn out; there's time to pace yourself.

Blessings,

Chrissie Blaze
