The Astrology of 2021

Dear Friends: 

So what can we expect in 2021. Last year was, as we know, a difficult one for many people; it was one of limitation and often discipline imposed upon us. However, for some it was a positive time of building up of the inner self.
 
This year will be very different; it is a time of change. On December 21 we  changed from one 200-year astrological era to another which began on the day of the Winter Solstice, December 21, 2020. This was the day of the coming together of Jupiter and Saturn known in astrology as The Great Conjunction at 0 degrees Aquarius, right at the beginning of this sign.

It was so rare astrologically that the last time these two planets met right at the beginning of Aquarius, was 1405, during the Great Renaissance in Europe. We are now entering another great Renaissance on Earth.
 
This will will come in slowly with difficulties especially at the beginning, and many will feel uncertainty as we enter the unknown. 
 
I urge people to go with this new flow of change. The planets are advanced living Intelligences; creating a great Cosmic symphony of energies assisting all life in its evolution.

We have moved from an Era of materialism with Jupiter and Saturn joining in the Earth Signs. We are entering an overlay of the 2,100 year Aquarian Age which began in the early 1960s.
 
We are heading this year into a another 200-year Renaissance with Jupiter and Saturn now joining in the Air signs. Slowly but surely more people will seek Aquarian values of humanitarianism; a new Spirituality; breaking free of old ways of thinking and being; and working together in groups for the good of mankind and the Earth upon which we live. We are entering a time when technological and scientific advancement will be used for the good of all. 
 
The energies of Jupiter and Saturn continue to assist us throughout 2021.  Urging us to work hard together in a wise Saturnian focused and disciplined way for the good of the whole; then will the Jupiterean gifts of Divine opportunity; abundance, good fortune, joy and virtual miracles upon Earth be activated.
 
This transition will, however, not be easy. Courage will be needed. 
 
This intense energy of the great Conjunction making a difficult square aspect to Uranus, the planet of change, builds up from January 14 and is intensified by Mars coming into the mix from January 18-23 –This is an explosive combination peaking on the day of the Presidential Inauguration on January 20 potentially bringing violence and riots; as well as possible environmental or natural disasters.
 
There are many important days in 2021 but since time is limited, I am going focus on what is, astrologically speaking, the most important days of the year – February 11, 2021.  This is yet another Aquarian infusion of energies. It’s as if we passed through the door to this on December 21 and we are now coming out the other side ready to meet this change. 
 
On February 11, a New Moon in Aquarius is part of a six-planet line up– known as a STELLIUM. This is when all planets are lined up in a row, very closely together. These planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury Rx, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn.  It brings tremendous POWER and INTENSITY and a RAMPING UP even more of all that Aquarius symbolizes. 
 
This alignment of six planet in Aquarius next month parallels the seven-planets in Aquarius experienced on February 5, 1962 that was heralding in the beginning of the Aquarian Age and launched major cultural and spiritual shifts of consciousness the 1960s. Some of you listening may remember.

This alignment in February is a similar launching point for global change. This will affect all of us. The best advice during these extremely potent periods of 2021 is to adopt a spiritual approach, giving service and spiritual practices bringing harmony and healing. This will help to balance the extreme nature of these energies which, although good in every way, can be difficult to cope with.

This group prayer for the good of all, is the essence of Aquarius and will be extremely helpful during this entire year. 
 
I believe that nobody can resist a new era who’s time has come… The energies of the planets are irresistible but it’s still our choice how we use them. Astrology inclines but it does not compel. It’s wise to embrace the changes that are coming; to make positive changes within ourselves; letting go of the past that has held us back and moving forward. By realizing more fully our humanity and bringing a warmth and feeling to this Age.
 
This year of Change will not be easy; it will require courage, determination and equal doses of strength and compassion; but if we focus on realizing our Divine potential as well as serving others and our world, it will be absolutely fantastic!
 
The Inauguration Horoscope
 
Now a few words about the Inauguration horoscope. Just as the USA inaugurates a new President, which historically has always been a peaceful transfer of power, but as just mentioned, on this day there is an explosive mix of energies with the planet of change, Uranus, squaring Jupiter/Saturn on January 20-23. There is a difficult mix of energies; Uranus wants change and Taurus the sign it is in, does not. It’s as if our heels are dug in the floor; it’s about shaking the unshakeable; we can expect to see sudden changes and intense struggles play out on the world stage especially in February and twice more in 2021. 
 
Also, the chart for this day has powerful Pluto is at the top/Midheaven of the chart and because Pluto is very slow moving it is possibly the first time this has ever happened in US history. Pluto indicates transformation but at worst it is controlling and manipulative. However, it does bring hope and optimism in the long term.
 
All I can say is that, on this day, anything could happen. I urge you to stay indoors and pray if you are able to. 
 
The good news is that the astrology of 2021 offers an optimistic outlook. There’s a new chapter unfolding, and there's a chance to be the change we want to see and build new ways of being . . . together.
