Dear Friends:
I am sure you are all concerned by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. It is close to home for me personally because I lived there for fourteen years from 1994-2008 and these were among some of best years of my life. I went there to be closer to my Spiritual Master, Dr. George King, whose primary residence was in Los Angeles. I met there ny beloved husband, Gary. I met many new friends there and renewed friendships with other friends who had moved there.

I remember vividly arriving for the first time. I stepped out of LAX and it was like a different world from England, my home. It was the Sun, the palm trees and something vibrant in the air that raised my spirits so much that I could have laughed with joy. It felt like this was my home. I hired a car and drove for the the first time on the "wrong" side of the road. It was all very exciting and remained exciting throughout those years until Gary and I made the move to Michigan in 2008 for various reasons.

Los Angeles was to me so inspiring; it seemed as if the devas were happy creating such incredible beauty all around them.

And now, to see the utter devastation, which is affecting so many people (including many friends) and animals and the wildlife, it is just so tragic. My heart goes out to all the Angelenos.

One thing we do in The Aetherius Society is pray. We pray for everything - for every tragedy, for every crime against humanity, for natural disasters, wars, for people who need healing and the world that needs healing. Dr. King taught us the mystery and the magic and the power of what he called Dynamic Prayer as a way to save us all. I therefore take the liberty in this email of asking you to pray for Los Angeles and my prayer is below for you to use if you wish. The Astrology of Los Angeles Los Angeles has a natal chart, just like us. Many astrologers use September 4, 1781 as the chart for LA for this is when it was named. The chart makes sense to me. A Virgo chart with its emphasis on health and fitness, with assertive, forward thinking Aries rising and the Moon in the home-loving sign of Cancer that rules the land.
When the firestorms started, Pluto was at 1 Aquarius very close to the planet Uranus in the LA Chart - indicating sudden, earth-shattering and profound events which turn the world upside down. This tendency is part of the LA natal chart but Pluto "set it alight" so to speak.

Los Angeles will be going through her Pluto Return in February 2026. This only happens once every 248 years so it is the first time LA has experienced anything like this. This indicates a deep transformation of the place and the people. It is, of course, devastating to so many that. this is happening now and I don't want to belittle it in any way. However, Pluto's power is to take a thing or a person down to nothing - nothing but God - and then build it up again in a much better way.

I know from my own experience that Los Angeles has within it, contrary to some public perception, powerful spiritual attributes. Because of this I feel great hope for the future of this important town in the New World. It won't be easy but, with our prayerful help, I believe the creative and assertive drive of the Angelenos will build it back even better.

A New World is Being Born - 2025 A New World is not just being born in Los Angeles - it is a part of the Cosmic Plan for the Peace and Enlightenment of Humanity for us all.

I know astrologers like to talk about new eras and these may seem to happen frequently. It is indeed true that, since the 1960s, the influence of the living planets has been helping us to prepare for a transformation. We spiritually-minded people have had enough of the old order of endless wars, injustice and political intrigue.
 
The Rising Vibrations of Mother Earth
We shall see that 2025 is the year when the old order will begin to unravel and a new one will be born amidst the turmoil of the dying embers of an era that is outworn and will never serve humanity.  This will not happen overnight and will take a few years, specifically from 2025-2028, to become obvious to all. 
 
It is obvious to aware people that we can no longer continue as we are. The primary reason for this from a higher perspective is because, on July 8, 1964, the "Primary Initiation of Earth" took place. This was an historic day when our Mother Earth received massive amounts of cosmic energy during this Initiation performed by Interplanetary Masters[1]. The highly advanced, living, breathing planet, Earth[2] is now gradually releasing this energy and so raising all life upon Her great living body.
 
High Spiritual truth, and the release of powerful, healing Spiritual energies have one thing in common, they cause disturbance for those who are not ready.  Many of you reading this article who are healers know first-hand that the spiritual energy you give to your patient can make them sicker before they improve. This is called "the healing response."  It is the same with the world.
 
This release of high cosmic energies by the Earth has been gradually moving us upwards in our evolution and this feeling will intensify. For those of us who have been preparing for this time for many years, the transition will be smoother but still it will not be easy. These will be the days of decision for us all and the exciting thing is that the more we attune ourselves to this higher energy through spiritual practices, prayer, healing and selfless acts of service; the more we express our love, compassion and kindness, the more quickly we shall advance on this beautiful path of spiritual enlightenment.
 
There is a Cosmic Plan for the peace and enlightenment of our world set in motion by the ancient ones long ago, and this is one small but vital part of this overall Plan.
 
The Living Planets
All the planets are highly advanced living Intelligences and they participate in this great Plan of the Divine, their precious energies helping all life to evolve.  As an astrologer, I am aware that some of these planetary configurations are extremely difficult for people but they should not be. The planets cooperate with the great Law of God, Karma and their influence may feel as if we are being pushed. Just remember that, at times like this, we are being pushed God-wards. Sometimes, we need a push to move us from our comfort zone, and this is what is happening now.
 
2025 will be a year of transformation because of a momentous astrological event. For the first time in approximately 600 years, all five of the slower moving (outer planets) will be changing signs within the space of a few months with Pluto leading the way on November 19, 2024.  Just to give you an idea of how rare this is, Pluto's orbit through the twelve signs of the zodiac is 248 years; Neptune's orbit is 165 years; Uranus' orbit is 84 years; Saturn's orbit is 29.5 years and Jupiter's orbit is 12 years. 
 
Can you imagine, with all these different orbit speeds and distances from Earth, how often it may take for all to change into different signs of the zodiac within a few months of each other?
 
This is extremely rare. It was in the 15th Century when a similar astrological event took place. This was the time when the Middle Ages, known as the "Dark Ages" came to an end, and the European Renaissance that began in Italy and swept through Europe.
 
As Above, So Below
The old maxim: "As above, so below" is true.  Everything that happens in the heavens above affects all life on Earth.  Now, a similar massive astrological event will be affecting all life on Earth indicating the end of the turmoil of what has been another dark age on Earth, with its endless wars, division and injustice, and the birth of another renaissance.  This time it will not be one of art and culture (although these will remain a part of this new Renaissance), but a Spiritual Renaissance.  The history of humanity illustrates that we abhor change; for this reason, it may be difficult although the relationships (aspects) that these outer planets will be making one with another are harmonious. This indicates a fairly smooth transition to this new era and we may feel this later in 2025.
 
Cosmic Prophecies
This time of great change after the Initiation of Earth has been prophesied many times through the Cosmic teachings delivered to Earth by the Interplanetary Masters through the late Dr. George King (1919-1997)[3]. Dr. King was a western Master of Yoga and phenomenal trance medium who received over 600 of these messages known as Cosmic Transmissions. I was one of the direct disciples of Dr. King for over 20 years and can attest to the truth of these fantastic teachings, which I have studied for decades. The Cosmic Teachings of The Aetherius Society, founded by Dr. King, are given not to individuals but to the world as a whole in order to help all life to evolve, and this is one mark of genuine spiritual truths of the highest order.
 
These planetary influences of 2025 will be extremely powerful and there is a predominance of Aries energy. This is the sign of the spiritual warrior, and it is not by chance that this energy will be greatly needed. This time of change will demand courage, will-power, strength and fortitude leading up to the time when another great Cosmic Avatar will come to this Earth with all His mighty Spiritual powers to lead, teach and inspire us as we fully enter this Aquarian Age.[4]
 
The energy needed for us to make this change will be available, thanks to the planets and we will be assisted by the great Masters, male and female, of the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth. We are also being helped at this time, as we have been for centuries in many different ways, by the Interplanetary Masters. However, it will be up to us, more than ever before, to take responsibility for our thoughts and actions and frame this in accordance with the Laws of God, so that the change can happen more smoothly.
 
One Cosmic Transmission entitled "The One Who Came in Grace" was delivered by The Master Jesus when He overshadowed Dr. King on September 14, 1957,[5] prophesying the following before the beginning of the Age of Aquarius:
 
“The Age which is breaking now, brings with it, great possibilities and is the Age of Science. Science, by itself, is like the soul-less wanderer of the realms of night. Yet a warmth will come out of Love, to fashion it into a tool, so that it becometh as a wise man, finding his home. Warm it with that Love my brothers. Let that wondrous, everlasting Power from your hearts fall upon this Science, so that it becometh as a tool in the hands of Everlasting Divinity and not that soul-less thing which you have made of it."
 
We are the ones who must use this power of love, not just for our families and our friends, or for ourselves, but for our whole world at this time, for the Spiritual Renaissance to take place as harmoniously as possible.

THE AUTUMN EQUINOX The Summer felt too brief but here we are once again at the Autumn Equinox on September 22. On this day, the life-giving Sun will leave the sign of Virgo to illuminate peace-keeping Libra. With the influence of the cardinal air sign, we can now more easily compromise with others and tread The Middle Way of Buddhism.

SOLAR ECLIPSE IN LIBRA - OCTOBER 2 The final Solar Eclipse of 2024 will be the New Moon Solar Eclipse in the sign of Libra on October 2. These eclipses are dramatic, often bringing changes, both external and within. These can be good or difficult depending on how they affect our personal natal charts. This eclipse in Libra may urge us to rethink, revealing things that were previously hidden from us. At these times, and for a few weeks before and more than a month afterwards, we can learn how and what we need to change so we can grow and evolve more rapidly. We may find that we are dealing with issues from the past that have held us back.

FULL MOON IN ARIES - OCTOBER 17 The upcoming Full Moon at 24 degrees Aries represents the culmination of a six-month cycle that began on April 8, 2024, with the New Moon Total Solar Eclipse in Aries. Although this is not an eclipse, it is a powerful Full Moon and we can expect intense emotions. This activates both Pluto and Mars so there is the possibility of conflicts or power struggles that can bring opportunities to recognize and heal deep-seated wounds as we face uncomfortable truths.

JUPITER RETROGRADE IN GEMINI Geminis may be wondering where the beneficial energy of Jupiter in Gemini has been since its ingress into your sign on May 25! Do not fear, there is still plenty of time for Jupiter's bounty to enrich your life with fortunate opportunities.The planet will be there until June 5, 2025. On October 9, this planet of good karma goes retrograde but the good neews is that this is nothing like the often frustrating Mercury Retrograde periods. Jupiter retrograde can be very beneficial. It is calling us to go within and count our blessings to find or regain the magic in our lives.

THE NEW ERA OF PLUTO IN AQUARIUS November 19 marks an entire new era of innovation and profound change when small but mighty Pluto enters progressive Aquarius, the sign of this current 2,000 year Age.
Pluto has "dipped its toe" into Aquarius before returning to the previous sign of Capricorn will now remain there for the next 19 years!
During this time, we shall see significant shifts and upheavals in society as we move from more conservative and materialistic values of Pluto in Capricorn where it was from 2008, to more innovative and revolutionary ones.
I think of Pluto as an Agent of God, breaking down the barriers that hold us back from our Divinity, in its laser-like fashion.While this can be painful, Pluto is actually helping us in our evolution by seeking out all that is false with the ultimate aim of transformation God-wards.
This interesting planet will, I feel, be happier in the sign of Aquarius than it was in the previous sign of Capricorn but even so we can expect upheaval as so many will undoubtedly do all they can to resist the Plutonian power. It is far better to embrace the changes and go with the flow of its power.
For those of us on an "Aquarian Path" such as astrologers, and leading edge scientists, and the international Spiritual organization, The Aetherius Society, these next 19 years are crucial and pivotal and will bring far greater power and influence.

2025 - THE BIG SHIFT We are currently in a powerful time of decision leading up to 2025 because this will be an extremely pivotal year - an exceptional year - with Pluto now in Aquarius and when Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter and Chiron all change signs simultaneously in the summer months of next year. 
This represents a huge shift for everyone personally and collectively. As well as this there will be a big outer planet configuration around August 12, 2025. So there is a lot of interrelated energy, and the planets themselves are all in the midst of adapting to a new sign-based energy.
While his time will feel destabilizing and uncertain it is encouraging that the aspects between the outer planets are all more flowing aspects (conjunctions, sextiles) rather than harder aspects (oppositions, squares). So, although I believe these energies will bring destabilization to current, outdated systems, they are moving us towards more unity. It is fascinating, as it appears that the outer planets will all be working together in order to bring this about. Of course, we all have to cooperate with this fantastic opportunity to transform ourselves and our world.

DO YOU USE YOUR SUN SIGN? This may sound like a strange question but quite often I find that clients are not using the power and vitality of their own Sun sign and sometimes even shun this. In some cases, it's because the descriptions of Sun signs they read don't seem to accurately reflect the person's self image. We may not relate at all to what we read about our Sun sign. 1. Because the Sun is only one of many planets in our horoscope. each of which contribute to our total personality.

A few years ago, the small, very slow moving but powerful outer planet, Pluto, was conjunct Pluto in the US natal chart. In other words, this planet had returned to the exact place it was when the US was born. Pluto has an orbit of 248 years so takes that long for it to return to this place. 
 
This week is the 248th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, and as I say, Pluto has a 248 -year orbit.  Every year we can draw up a solar return chart for our birthdays and get a good idea of the influences in the year ahead.  When you do this for the Declaration, Pluto is at 1 degree Aquarius where it has been going backwards and forwards for a year or so - backward into Capricorn and forwards into Aquarius when, on November 19, 2024, it will remain in Aquarius for over 28 years until March 8, 2043.
 
This is like yet another layer of the dawning of the Age of Aquarius which, for various reasons, I believe began in the early 1960s, and even perhaps on July 8, 1964 - the date of the Primary Initiation of Earth.  
 
However, this Aquarian Age is coming in slowly layer by layer.  In some strange way, I believe it is coming in prematurely, because of the intervention in these days by Masters on and beyond this Earth, together with the inventions by my Spiritual Master, Dr. George King.  We humans have made such a mess of our Earth, that outside intervention had to take place but it cannot continue without us playing our part. 
 
JULY 8, 2024
If I was to draw up a solar return chart for your birthday, you may find that your actual birthday has shifted slightly due to the precession - the Earth's wobble.
 
Interesting to me, and to many of you reading this, the precessed Birthday of the Declaration of Independence for this year is July 8.  In The Aetherius Society, we celebrate this day as the most important day in our calendar because of the Initiation of Earth and regard it as the first day in each Earth Year. Each new Earth Year, as all new cycles, is like a rebirth.
 
Astrology consists of constant planetary cycles, each one assisting us in our growth so that we can learn from and transmute that which we do not want to take with us into the next cycle.  Some cycles are fleeting and not as important as those of the slow-moving outer planets - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Puto.
 
GRAND DESIGN
As an astrologer, I am constantly overawed by the exactitude of these cosmic cycles and realize that nothing is by chance but by Grand Design.  I was very excited when I saw that this year the true birthdate of the U.S. celebration of The Declaration of Independence had moved because of the Earth wobble, and now coincides not only with the 248 year cycle of Pluto but also the holiest day of the year - July 8. 
 
I can't say definitely why I feel this is highly significant but will share some thoughts and welcome you to share yours by contacting me, if you wish, by leaving a message at the end of this Blog or via my Contact page.
 
A return of any kind in astrology is significant. You have all probably heard of the Saturn Returns.  Many people reading this may have gone through one or two  Saturn Returns; one at age 29 and one at 58 . The third one is at age 77.
 
These are karmic moments when some of the karma you have created, good, bad and indifferent, comes back to you, usually presenting a crisis or an opportunity of some kind. These times can be opportunities for growth and may offer an initiation of some kind on the outer or inner planes.  Even so, they still can be challenging because change is difficult for most of us.
 
PLUTO RETURNS
The natal Pluto in the US chart is in late Capricorn and recently Pluto has been leading up to and going over that point for about the past 4 years but its effects began when Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 around the time of the great recession. Even though Pluto is now past this point and entering Aquarius, still this Pluto return will have effects well into the 2030s and beyond. The effects of the cycles of the slow-moving outer planets, with Pluto being the slowest, last for many years.
 
We don't have many examples of Pluto returns because people just don't yet live that long but astrologers can see important points connected to others planets in the US chart.
 
Of course, the U.S. isn't everything in this world, but the country does have an impact on the world.  I am only interested in this chart right now because it is so fascinating.
 
THE U.S. TODAY
I think all of us living in the U.S. see certain common issues in the country right now. On the negative side, we see extremism of different kinds; a lack of belief in certain institutions that they previously upheld, i.e. politics, the Supreme Court, etc. We see a lot of stress; a lack of optimism; confusion and lack of direction. We see what seems to be a war on sex with people being afraid to say certain things. Communication is stilted with cell phones being at the center.  Many people are afraid of the weather, the wars and the future. 
 
Of course, it's not all bad and there is a burgeoning interest in spirituality and concern for the Earth but Pluto has a way of breaking down before it builds up and we are seeing the results now of this breaking down phase.
 
WHAT DO WE WANT?
People often visit astrologers because they are seeking self-knowledge and direction. The first thing an astrologer has to work out is what a client wants and then find out whether, according to their chart, that is what they really want and then do their best to guide them in the direction of their destiny.  It seems as if this country doesn't know what it wants except for all the strife to stop.  I think everyone would agree with that.
 
This brings me back to the 246th anniversary of the Declaration and the 248 year cycle of Pluto and the the precessed Birthday of the Declaration of Independence for this year is July 8.
 
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
All I can say right now is that the fact that this is happening and the precessed birthday on July 8 gives me hope.  To me, an Englishwoman, the Declaration of Independence represents something very positive - a move away from oppression (even though the oppression was at the time my own home country!)  It is bigger than that. I believe it was conceived by higher forces and represents the true spirit of the country.
 
The power of the planet Pluto is that it represents change through transmutation. It digs deep into those dark places we all have - and the country has - and brings them to light so that they can be transmuted into something better.
 
July the 8th represents the most sacred day of the year; a spirituality based on our true Mother, the Earth Goddess, on whom we depend upon to live, breathe. and have our being.
 
I think herein lies the answer.  If we are to turn away from our own worries and concerns for a moment; it we are to think deeply about the extreme weather conditions and contemplate on why we might be having them, we can see that with our total disregard, for the most part, for Mother Earth, we deserve all this.  She gives and gives to us, and we take and take. This seems to be the result of our mass selfishness.
 
I think it is time for the human race to become enlightened adults - to turn to the spiritual light within us all and to realize that Love is the answer. Not emotional love for each other so much, but a true abiding love for all that we have been given in this journey through life. Love for our unfolding karmic patterns whatever they bring us because in the U.S. we are fortunate, for the most part, to   have the opportunities to learn and grow rather than have to struggle for survival. It is also about love for our spiritual selves so that this most important part of us can be our guide.  It is love for the Great Ones who through sacrifice, unerringly help us, and love for the Earth who sustains, molds and influences us. Who allows us to live, breathe, dream and have our being.

I think this year is the time for all of us to think deeply about these things and realize that together, if we have the will, the desire, the love, we can bring positive change to this country and to our world.

A NEW ECOLOGY

This is eclipse season with the lunar eclipse on March 25 as I write this and the solar eclipse on April 8.  But what is an eclipse?  It is an incredibly precise moment when the moon, the sun and the Earth align. The lunar eclipse happens during the full moon when the earth's shadow blocks out our view of the moon. 
 
We are building up now to a total solar eclipse which is causing so much excitement in the US because it will be visible in 11 States including a little slice of the state in which I write this, in Monroe County, Michigan.

What is a total Solar Eclipse?
A solar eclipse happens during the new moon when the moon passes between the earth and the sun blocking out our view of part of the Sun but a total solar eclipse like the one on April 8 is when the moon blocks out the sun completely. 
This has caused excitement down through the ages just as it is now with millions of people in the US preparing to see this celestial phenomenon. It is extremely exciting because the mathematical precision of this aspect of God's creation surely proves to us that nothing is by chance but all part of a grand cosmic plan for evolution. A total solar eclipse is a very humbling and sacred experience.

Astrologically Speaking
For astrologers, it is also very exciting because these eclipses occur when the moon reaches the boundaries of the elliptical orbit (the orbit shaped path of the earth's orbit) - known as the nodes - the south node and the north node.
Astrologers believe that important eclipses such as the one on April 8 are times when all life streams are being urged to step into a higher destiny; to move up a notch in their evolution.
Both of these are destiny points which bring change in our lives and show us where our karma is.  Eclipses have a way of bringing things to light that have been hidden and urging us to deal with them. 
 
The North Node and the South Node
The north node is what we are striving for and our future; the south node represents our resources from the past. Right now, the north node is in the sign of Aries where it has been for almost a year since July 2023, urging us to focus on developing more of our divine nature, as well as our own talents and abilities. Some may say Aries is selfish but it is now time for us all to put that focus on improving ourselves so that we can make more of a positive impact on our world.  It's time to learn to listen to our higher selves and our heart rather than just our conscious mind.

The south node in Libra is urging us to let go of people, things and aspects of ourselves that hold us back for this time of transformation.

The lunar node on March 25 and for several days after this, is like a time of preparing for this change. We can do this through reflection, spiritual practices and prayer in order to have a clearer idea of what we must let go and what we are reaching for.  It is not a time to push but a time to let go and surrender to a higher flow. This is why it is important to try and make time to clarify this within yourselves and learn how to listen to your own intuition that will be urging you to become the better you; to reveal more of your innate divinity.

Mercury Retrograde
In my last Blog and Cosmic Cafe issue, I discussed the journey of mercury retrograde from April 1-25. It is now in its shadow period leading up to this time and will be in retrograde motion during the total solar eclipse on April 8.  Watch for things from the past coming to light at this time and be prepared to act. The entire cosmic symphony, God's creation, is urging us forward in our evolution.

Even though I urge people to not be impulsive during Mercury retrograde, you may find that opportunity for change comes your way, especially around the time of the solar eclipse. Look honestly and carefully at whether this change is offering you growth; bringing you an opportunity that may appear difficult for you and challenging but that will reveal more of your inner strength and real potential.

In other words, it is not the time to hold back because of fear of allowing your inner light to shine.

The Total Solar Eclipse - April 8, 2024
As well as the explanations above, its effects are compounded by the fact that this total solar eclipse will occur during what is called a supermoon. This is when the Moon is in close proximity to the earth, making the effects even more intense.

If you are in one of the areas where you can see this celestial phenomenon, how wonderful for you!  However, do be careful about looking at the sun without wearing special glasses for that purpose.

In The Twelve Blessings delivered by The Master Jesus through my Spiritual Master, Dr. George King in London, England in 1958, this great Avatar of Love delivered the Eighth Blessing - Blessed Is The Mighty Sun.  In this wonderful Blessing, Jesus urges us to:

 "Send out your love to This. Send out your power to This. Know that even as you do so, never in a thousand million years can you hope to repay the debt you owe to this most wondrous Being - this most magnificently glorious aspect of Great God."

Let us, on this day of April 8, allow our love to flow forth in prayer and thankfulness to the mighty sun which shines always in sacrifice allowing us life and experience upon our mother earth in this house of God, the solar system.

March 19 is the first day of Spring, signifying a powerful shift in our physical and spiritual worlds. It is the first day of Aries and offers a unique opportunity for all of us to embrace change, seek balance and engage in ways to enhance our spiritual growth.

However, there is a caveat to this. Although this is a time of new beginnings - with Mercury retrograde in Aries approaching rapidly - there are things for us to watch out for. as you will see below.

Mercury Retrograde in Aries 
April 1-25 is the first Mercury retrograde of 2024, and this one could be a wild ride.

Be vigilant from March 19-31 for things that may come up to be dealt with during Mercury retrograde. This is not necessarily a bad thing. It may be something you started previously but never finished, or it could be something that has been simmering in your life.

This Mercury retrograde, however, could be more chaotic than usual because firstly it is in the impulsive, restless and dynamic sign of Aries which is ruled by Mars.

The best thing to do during this retrograde, especially if you are an Aries Sun, rising or Moon, as I am, is to be very watchful of things you say and do: in other words, try to think before you speak or act. I know this is hard for Aries but it will save time later, believe me. Try not to make hasty decisions or impulsive buys that you will later regret.

Aries also is about how we feel about ourselves so you may experience self-doubt. Aries is also pushing us to be authentic; to be our own person rather than the person others might want you to be. Mercury retrograde is always the perfect time to relax if you possibly can in order that you can reflect on your life and make any necessary changes.

Remember, misunderstandings can take place during Mercury retrograde, especially in Aries with your communication being more direct than usual. This could upset some people so practice patience. Don't force your beliefs or desires on others. Don't try to dominate conversations but do express your thoughts and ensure your voice is heard. Don't jump to conclusions.

Remember, this time of year and the sign of Aries are good times to begin things. However, although you may have many ideas at this time since Aries is a sign of ideas, many of them may not work in the long run. Write down all your ideas during this time but try not to act on them until the end of the month.

You may be offered something new, out of the blue but during Mercury retrograde it could fizzle out. However, something from the past may come your way which could work out to be beneficial.

Above all, it is an excellent time to start a regime of breathing exercises and spiritual practices. Perhaps you may have started in the past and given up - now is the time to revive them.

2023 is a year of transitions in the heavens above. "As above so below" dictates that these transitions will reflect - to a certain extent depending upon our individual karmic patterns - our lives. These changes, as major planets make significant shifts - certainly have an effect on humanity as a whole. 

January/February
As you read this, both planets, Mercury and Mars are now in direct motion after being retrograde. We can now move ahead with our plans and communications with more ease. 
March
One of the most notable changes in 2023 is Saturn moving into Pisces from the sign of Aquarius where it has been for the past 2.5 years and, before that, in Capricorn. This takes place on March 7. This will bring a softer, more spiritual tone after the massive divisions we have seen and experienced over the past few years.  It's as if humanity has been dehumanized through the many constraints, through social media, though clashes with those with different opinions and beliefs, through the mass murders in the USA, through the crises associated with climate change, and so on.
Saturn will remain in Pisces until spring 2025. Although it doesn't always feel like it, Saturn is always a positive influence. It is how we interpret it that is often the problem. Are we ready for the wisdom it brings? It has certainly helped us to prioritize and begin to take greater responsibility for our actions towards each other and our beautiful planet. It is helping us to grow up.
When Saturn moves into Pisces, expect to feel the effects of the past five years of your life - good, bad and indifferent. Pisces is not necessarily associated with courage but Pisceans can be courageous in that they don't mind admitting what they don't know and are open enough to apologize for their mistakes. They are able to be vulnerable which can be important for growth and learning. 
With this influence of Saturn in Pisces, it's time for all of us to aim for understanding, compassion as the fuel for our lives, and the lives of others. Let us leave behind the darkness and walk into the Light that the path of Love and sacrifice will lead us into, however difficult it may be.
We may be feeling that these are the last days of the Old Order - because they are. We may feel that time is running out, despite our age - well, it's because it is running out before the Great Change. Don't let's find ourselves running after the train once it's left the station. If you know the train will lead you to a better, higher place - jump on it now! We're all being called to help in this Great Change, now more than ever before.  Choose, a high, noble, spiritual cause dedicated to service to humanity like The Aetherius Society - and jump!  
It's a time of resolution and a time of greater commitment. It is now time for all of us to reach even higher. With this influence of Jupiter in Aries and Saturn in Pisces, the sky is the limit!
In March, it's as if we are moving away from the harsh realities of the past few years into dreams of a better world. I am talking about empty dreams of no value to yourself or anyone but dreams of the wonderful possibilities that now confront us - if we are prepared to act to bring these into being. With wise Saturn in the sign of Pisces, it's as if we're being given the means - good judgment, hard work and right action - to make these dreams a reality.
But possibly the most significant planetary event of 2023 is Pluto moving signs from Capricorn into Aquarius for several months from March 23-June 11, before dipping back into Capricorn for the rest of the year where it has been since 2008. This may well give us a glimpse of what we can expect over the next 20 years!
April/May
Other major shirts occur in the Spring with Aries-Libra eclipses happening over the next two years.  There will be a solar eclipse at 29 degrees squaring Pluto on April 20 and a lunar eclipse opposite Uranus on May 5 at 14 degrees Scorpio. In the middle of this, Mercury will be retrograde in Taurus from April 21-May 14. 
This means that we may be revising the past in order to learn from it. It's time to pay careful attention to avoid falling into the trap of repeating negative themes of the past few years. It can be a disruptive time for some as a particular chapter of our lives is about to come to an end which in many cases can be a good thing. 
Change is never easy but the nature of this year with the Seven vibration is that when things seem tough, we can reach up to a higher place for guidance and read what is written there. These are the times of karma and of learning from our karma. It's time for us to look forward and only look back as long as it takes us to learn the particular lesson. 
We may feel inclined to take a rest and recuperation period from April 21 during the Mercury Retrograde period as you may realize you've been doing too much. If you can't do that, it's a perfect time for self-reflection.
Jupiter is currently rushing through Aries like a rocket, bringing up lots of ideas, many of which won't stick but just keep the flow going right now. It can be a little overwhelming but enjoy this exciting time and go with this new flow as you can now make the dreams of the past few years a reality, providing you select the correct ideas and act to bring these into manifestation.  It's also a time for personal growth and time to make new friends or begin new ventures. The heavy difficult aspects and eclipses over the past few years have been restrictive and have slowed us all down. Now, it feels as if we're ready to move on. It's a positive time for those with the Sun, Moon or Rising Sign in Aries. 
Jupiter moves into Taurus on May 16 where it stays until June 2024, bringing opportunities for Taureans and Scorpios who may be feeling a bit beaten down after the changes of the past few years. However, with a square to Pluto, be optimistic but also ruthlessly honest with yourself.  It's time to realize how we affect others with our attitudes and beliefs. The more positive these are, the more we can affect others in a positive way. Jupiter in Taurus is time for all of us to make even stronger our connection to the planet on which we live, the Earth. June
When Pluto moves back into Capricorn again on June 11, we are reminded for the rest of this year the challenges we face with climate change and all that brings. However, now is the time more than ever before to focus on the real solution to all these problems - The Spiritual Energy Crisis. 
The great Spiritual Master, Dr. George King, Founder of The Aetherius Society, stated in the 1960s: "The real energy crisis which exists upon our world is the spiritual energy crisis and, if this was solved, all other crises would cease to exist."[1]  If you live in the Metro Detroit area, you're very welcome to attend to the talk that Gary and I will be giving on this topic on Friday, March 3 at The Aetherius Society in Royal Oak at 7:30 p.m. or email me to find out more.
During this important year, we will begin to feel the high-minded, yet also practical, idealism of Aquarius for the betterment of humanity. Let us be tolerant of those who do not espouse our views. The rigidity that the fixed sign of Aquarius can bring, can now be tempered with the compassion and understanding of Saturn in Pisces. 
Have a wonderful new beginning to 2023, a year of movement and change which can be like a bridge over troubled waters to a better place.

I would like to begin this Blog by saying that this is an astrological glimpse rather than a full-blown analysis of the year ahead, which I hope will come later. These are impressions, which I hope may be helpful. ​2022 begins with hope, with Jupiter still in the sign of compassion, kindness and expanded consciousness, Pisces. It feels good after a year or two of extreme selfishness being highlighted in the world's media.  Jupiter is dignified in Pisces which allows people to be more emotionally sensitive to others; as well as being prepared to be considerate and even self-sacrificing for the sake of others.  ​

A Significant Beginning

While the year will still have its problems; the beginning of something is significant and sets a certain tone for the year ahead.  It is not by chance that the potentially very spiritual sign of Pisces is highlighted in this way, bringing greater interest in psychic and spiritual matters and creative imagination.  There is a stronger belief in a higher power and the way for us all to attract a richer life experience than in the past year is through using our intuition, creative imagination and compassion.  Helping those in need is what makes us feel better about ourselves now.  When we do this, we attract good fortune to ourselves.
 
This is not an ambitious aspect; the motivation is to give rather than expect or receive.  However, like all the planetary aspects, it's up to us whether we draw on the higher potential or dive into the lower, negative aspects of Jupiter in Pisces which include deception and escapism, illusion and unwillingness to face things as they really are.
 
On January 2, there is a New Moon at 12 degrees Capricorn. This is another new beginning and chance to rebuild with the emphasis on dealing with reality and practical matters. Jupiter in Pisces expands our spiritual consciousness and desire to express Love; Capricorn is like the vehicle through which we can express it. Perhaps by setting up a regular routine for healing and prayer, or joining with me and others at www.12blessings.org.
 
Other notable January events are Venus retrograde (December 19, 2021-January 29, 2022 in Capricorn) and Mercury retrograde (January 14-February 3, 2022 in Aquarius) causing us to pause and regroup as far as our relationships and communications are concerned, and decide what changes we want to make. With these planets being in Saturn-ruled signs of Capricorn and Aquarius, the decisions we make now in these areas bring a certain welcome discipline to our lives; a greater sense of responsibility to the whole.
 
These ae good periods to make the adjustments necessary for a healthy, joyful 2022.  With all these changes that the planets' influences bring to our attention, a good dose of self-honesty is required on our parts to keep moving on the correct path for us. If that sounds difficult, take a break from the news, social media and everything that stimulates what we call in astrology - the lower mind - for a while, and reach up through reflection and intuition to that still small voice of wisdom that is our true guide and friend.
 
What to Expect from 2022
 
But what of the year ahead?  What is the overall tone of the year?
 
Numerologically, we have moved from a Five Year (2021) to a Six Year (2022). As a race, we are moving rapidly from a year of intense and often unwanted change when for many people, things we took for granted have been taken away from us.  2022 will not be easy but it will be welcome if we make the necessary adjustments required by the Six.
 
In the years One through Nine, the Five Year is regarded as a chance for new beginnings but first the old and outworn attitudes we all have, are swept away, leaving us with the qualities and attitudes that are worth keeping and developing in the burgeoning Six. 
 
So, yes, generally we all will have to make certain adjustments, but these are conscious decisions to make subtle changes within, rather than the external changes many experienced during the turbulent Five vibration; this vibration tends to bring change whether we want it or not. 
 
It's when we make those adjustments, we can embrace more surely this vibration of healing, strength, responsibility, marriage, love of family and friends and domestic fulfillment of the Six vibration.  It's the best year to renovate your home; to buy a new home, to improve existing relationships or to marry. It is year to heal from longstanding health conditions, and to learn to heal yourself and others.
 
As the year progresses, we can, if we are prepared to make the necessary shifts towards greater clarity within ourselves, and more compassion and consideration for others, begin to feel more settled.
 
Astrologically, we are going through the last full year of Pluto in Capricorn. Since Pluto is power and Capricorn rules governments and institutions that have a certain power over our lives, we may see the defeat or ill-health or resignations from those people who have gained too much power and have not used it wisely over the past few years.  We are also in the middle of the US Pluto Return which I touched on during previous years and which is another article I wish to write.

You might want to glance through these articles again. Change, confusion and chaos has been in the air for a few years now, giving us a chance to see through all this "stuff" to the deeper issues that face us all - our evolution on this planet.
 
If we just look at the news, we seem to have regressed as a race but in fact, we have moved through change - some embracing it and rising to the challenge; other weaker souls being sucked into the superficial madness. 
 
Now, 2022 gives us a chance to heal, to grow and to make the essential adjustments so that we are now prepared to be the adults that we are now required to be for the unfolding future on planet Earth. This demands strength, as well as compassion and understanding. A realization that we are in this together, whether we agree with others or even like them. We cannot allow others' negativity to turn us from our own path. We only can control ourselves and the energy we radiate to the world. We can be the best person we can be, despite others.
 
The Virus
 
I did predict something that would affect the health of the world in previous years, and the virus will obviously still be with us in 2022.  We currently have ongoing mutations of COVID-19 and obviously we are all seeking a solution.
 
Vaccines are one solution that work for many but certainly in the Western world, we are not all going to agree on this. I am fully vaccinated as my health demands this at the current time. I can't control what others do and this is not my role in this article.  I think we can all agree though that the virus has not only caused deaths and sickness throughout the world but also generated a lot of hatred among people with different opinions.
 
We really do have to think hard this year about what kind of energy we are putting out.  I have learned that one can never control anyone else; one can never force anyone else. Astrology teaches us to do our best work by understanding and from that brings a certain appreciation and love. I would love it if, like my husband's family - all fully vaccinated - all wore masks over Christmas - not for themselves or each other - but just for me.  I quickly suggested we removed masks but was deeply touched by the kindness and love of my family for me, who would sacrifice their own comfort because of my health.  It was definitely a learning moment for me.
 
I am not suggesting all the anti-vax people step up but suggesting we all try and heal ourselves, our relationships and try and do our best for other people.  The world has become way too self-righteous, opinionated and self-centered.  We see violence on airplanes and everywhere.  We can't do anything about that from where we are but we can send out our love - through our words, our thoughts and especially our prayers. Every one of us makes a difference; I do know that.

If your world feels out of balance at this time, you may find the answer in the quote attributed to Hermes Trismegistus: “As above, so below….” Whatever happens to us on Earth reflects the Divine plan of evolution working through the energies of the planets.
 
Right now, the energies are extremely intense as the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn are all in the sign of Aquarius, forming what’s called in astrology – a stellium (a configuration of three or more planets in the same sign of the zodiac).  All of this Aquarian energy is influencing the lives of everyone on Earth, especially from February 1 until February 18. The peak day is at the time of the New Moon on February 11 at 2:05 p.m. EST. This high-octane powerful and intense energy in the powerful sign of Aquarius is calling us to awaken to greater humanitarianism, a desire for Oneness, social justice, an expansion of consciousness, a quest for Truth rather than theory, and an integration of science and spirituality.  
 
All of these planets in Aquarius form a square (a 90-degree angle that brings tense energy with one of two ruling planets of Aquarius – Uranus in the sign of Taurus). Uranus brings revelation as well as revolution. This indicates Earth changes, buried secrets coming to light, as well as possible violence and a desire to tear down the status quo. Fortunately, the influence of the second planetary ruler of Aquarius, Saturn, referred to as the planet of Karma and upholder of tradition, is particularly strong. It is reminding us that our actions, our thoughts, our intentions all have consequences.
 
This potent configuration is like a cosmic reminder that we can no longer continue as we have been and now is the time for us to move away from our infancy as a race and grow into conscious adults.
 
What does this mean for us; what can we expect and what should we do? 
 
While the planets incline they do not compel. Since we have freewill, the choice of how we use these influences – by realizing more fully our divine potential or by continuing in our petty, selfish ways - is up to each and every one of us. There is a time for everything, and this is time to strive for spiritual goals. It is time to understand ourselves and others. It is a time to determine to make a positive difference. It is a time of giving through service to others, healing and prayer.
 
If we choose to do this, we are then using the potent energies of the planets to assist us and each other in our growth and evolution. It is as if God is pointing out to us the way forward through the influence of Its fantastic planetary emissaries.
 
Almost Sixty Years Ago - The Age of Aquarius Begins and the World Changes
 
Almost sixty years ago, on February 4/5, 1962, a similar stellium of seven planets took place in the sign of Aquarius during the time of a total solar eclipse. In 1962, the intensification of energy of this line-up of planets resulted in worldwide changes of social and spiritual consciousness. This was the beginning of a counter-culture: a new spirituality, transformative love. On the negative side, we saw free sex, drugs, a blurring of identity, confusion over boundaries.
 
The planetary configuration on February 11, 2021 is akin to humanity being given a second chance to uphold the positive attributes of the new spirituality of this Age, embodied by organizations such as The Aetherius Society.
 
In 1962, the stellium was reported in the news and celebrated among astrologers. However, it was the 1967 musical, Hair, with its opening song, Aquarius, with the line "This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius", that brought the Aquarian age concept to the attention of audiences worldwide. While the astrology wasn’t accurate, the words resonated with many people yearning to find a better way of living in keeping with the concepts of this song: “Harmony and understanding, Sympathy and trust abounding, No more falsehoods or derisions”.
 
However, the real significance of the 1962 configuration was taking place behind or one might say above the scenes.  These actions by Masters and Ascended Masters from The Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth together with Interplanetary Intelligences known as Cosmic Masters who have been assisting humanity for many thousands of years, were absolutely astounding. This was reported in The Aetherius Society’s journal, Cosmic Voice # 26, July-August, 1962.
 
This Cosmic Voice included many messages, known as transmissions, received through the yogic mediumship of Dr. George King.
